Dear Nevis Families,
Thank you for choosing to be in District 308. We are proud of our world class education, small class sizes, and amazing courses. High school students have an opportunity to earn an AA degree without leaving campus. We also have a CNA program and boiler certificate, and construction trades. Students build a home each year! Nevis students also excel in activities like Knowledge Bowl and Robotics, and athletics like football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track. We are very proud of our 3 and 4 year old preschool program which prepares our youngest learners for elementary school. Elementary students receive Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) lessons along with top notch reading instruction per the READAct. Our teachers have had extensive training on Reading, Writing, and English Language instruction.

We will be working together to plan and propose a referendum for August or November 2026 to meet the facility needs of our aging building. We are listening to the voters and preparing for a minimal tax impact that will secure funding for the most important needs, like HVAC, new roofing, and funds to support a new bus each year to keep our fleet safe and up to date. I will keep our staff, families, and community informed every step of the way!
